Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Your journey begins with pickup from Indian Museum Main Gate (Park Street Metro) or P.C. Chandra Garden Gate No.1, Science City, followed by a comfortable AC drive to Godhkhali. After a short tea break on the way, continue toward your hotel located near the Sundarban Tiger Reserve, surrounded by rivers, villages, and greenery.
In the afternoon, enjoy a short boat ride to the Sundarban Bird Jungle, where you can witness the peaceful natural surroundings and a beautiful sunset view. In the evening, enjoy a local folk cultural program with tea and snacks, followed by a winter bonfire (seasonal), dinner, and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2
Start your morning with a boat safari through the Sundarban delta, accompanied by a government tourist guide. Visit important forest areas and routes including Sajnekhali Tiger Reserve, Pirkhali, Sarakkhali, Gazikhali, Deul Varani, Bonobibi Varani, and Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower.
Later, explore the Dobanki Tiger Reserve Area & Watch Tower, including the famous 896-meter canopy walk, followed by a visit to Panchamukhni, the meeting point of five rivers. After completing the jungle safari and sightseeing, begin your return journey and reach Kolkata by evening.
Food Itinerary
Day 1
Start your food journey with luchi, curry, sweets, and snacks like loita ball, amudi fish fry, or egg devil, served with coffee. Lunch includes a rich Bengali spread with rice, dal, fried items, patal prawns or vegetables, Hilsa vapa, Hilsa paturi, along with chutney, papad, curd, and fruit or digestive.
In the afternoon, enjoy tea, followed by evening snacks like chicken pakora or egg devil with tea. Dinner features poultry or Vetki fish, served with cumin rice and salad for a satisfying end to the day.
Day 2
Begin the day with bed tea, followed by breakfast with kachuri, alur dum, sweets, pakoras, and tea or coffee. Lunch includes rice, dal, fried items, Hilsa fish head curry, mustard Hilsa, yogurt Hilsa, served with chutney, papad, and fruits.
Evening snacks include masala muri, chop, and tea, while dinner offers Govindobhog rice khichuri, Hilsa fish fry or mutton curry, along with Dehradun rice, salad, and digestive.
