Day 1 – Departure from Sealdah

Your Gangtok journey begins from Sealdah Railway Station, where you will board Darjeeling Mail or Uttarbanga Express for your overnight train journey towards New Jalpaiguri (NJP).


Day 2 – Arrival at NJP & Transfer to Gangtok

After arriving at New Jalpaiguri Station, meet your driver and begin your scenic road journey towards Gangtok by Tata Sumo / Max / Mahindra Bolero or similar vehicle. On the way, enjoy beautiful views of the Teesta River, mountain roads, and greenery.

After reaching Gangtok, check in to the hotel and take some rest. In the evening, spend free time at MG Marg (Mall Road) for shopping, local food, and leisure. Overnight stay in Gangtok.


Day 3 – Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion

After breakfast, begin your excursion to Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake) and Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. Tsomgo Lake is a beautiful glacial lake and remains frozen during winter, making it one of the most popular attractions in Sikkim.

Later, visit Baba Mandir, a famous shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, known for its spiritual importance and military history. Return to Gangtok in the evening for overnight stay.


Day 4 – Gangtok to Lachung

After breakfast, start your journey towards Lachung, a scenic mountain village located near the Tibetan border. The route is known for its waterfalls, pine forests, valleys, and beautiful mountain landscapes.

After reaching Lachung, check in to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Lachung.


Day 5 – Yumthang Valley & Zero Point

Start early in the morning for an excursion to Yumthang Valley and Zero Point (Yumesamdong). Yumthang Valley is known for its natural beauty, seasonal flowers, mountain scenery, and nearby hot spring.

Continue towards Zero Point, one of the highest and most scenic tourist spots in North Sikkim, known as the last civilian-accessible road point. After sightseeing, return to the hotel and stay overnight.


Day 6 – Gangtok Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy local sightseeing in Gangtok, covering attractions like Rumtek Monastery, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Enchey Monastery, Bakthang Waterfall, and Do Drul Chorten Stupa.

You may also explore the Flower Exhibition Centre and enjoy the Gangtok Ropeway, depending on time and availability. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Gangtok.


Day 7 – Return to NJP

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your return journey to New Jalpaiguri Station. Lunch will be taken on the way before boarding your train back to Sealdah.


Day 8 – Arrival at Kolkata

Arrive at Sealdah Railway Station with beautiful memories of your Gangtok and North Sikkim journey filled with mountains, lakes, monasteries, and scenic landscapes.
