Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Departure from Sealdah
Your journey begins from Sealdah Railway Station, where you will board Darjeeling Mail or Uttarbanga Express and travel overnight towards New Jalpaiguri (NJP). Food will be provided during the journey.
Day 2 – Arrival at Kalimpong & Local Sightseeing
After arriving at New Jalpaiguri Station, meet your driver and begin your scenic journey to Kalimpong through beautiful hills, forests, and views of the Teesta River. On the way, visit Sevoke Kalibari, located near the river and known for its peaceful surroundings and beautiful hill views.
After hotel check-in and lunch, explore local attractions like Army Golf Course, Pine View Nursery (Cactus Garden), Dr. Graham’s Home, and Mangal Dham Pranami Temple. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Kalimpong.
Day 3 – Kalimpong Sightseeing & Transfer to Darjeeling
After breakfast, continue exploring Kalimpong with visits to attractions like Hanuman Tok, monasteries, Science Centre, Delo Park, Morgan House, Cactus Garden, and Durpin Monastery, known for its beautiful sunset views.
Adventure lovers may also enjoy paragliding (optional). After sightseeing, proceed toward Darjeeling and check in to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4 – Scenic Route to Darjeeling & Local Exploration
After breakfast, travel through scenic mountain roads while visiting Peshok View Point, Triveni View Point, and Lamahatta, known for pine forests, prayer flags, orchid gardens, and beautiful Himalayan surroundings.
Later, continue toward Darjeeling, enjoy lunch on the way, and check in to the hotel. In the evening, spend some free time exploring Darjeeling Mall Road and local market areas before overnight stay.
Day 5 – Darjeeling Full-Day Sightseeing
Start early in the morning with a visit to Tiger Hill (subject to token availability) to witness the famous sunrise view over Mt. Kanchenjunga, and on clear days, even distant views of Mt. Everest. On the return, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
After breakfast, continue with major Darjeeling attractions including Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Centre, Tea Garden, Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, and Ropeway (ropeway charges extra). Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6 – Mirik & Return to NJP
After breakfast, begin your return journey while visiting Mirik Lake, Indo-Nepal Border (Simana), New Point, and Tea Garden. These places offer beautiful mountain scenery and peaceful surroundings.
After lunch on the way, proceed to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and board Uttarbanga Express or Darjeeling Mail for your overnight train journey back.
Day 7 – Arrival at Sealdah
Arrive back at Sealdah Railway Station with beautiful memories of your Darjeeling and Kalimpong trip. Your journey ends here with unforgettable experiences of hills, tea gardens, monasteries, and mountain views.
