Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Departure from Kolkata
Your journey to Kashmir begins from Kolkata, where you will board Jammu Tawi Express or another available train for your onward journey. Enjoy your overnight train travel towards Jammu.
Day 2 – Full Day on Train
Spend the day traveling by train and enjoy the long scenic railway journey. Meals can be arranged from train vendors or carried personally. Overnight stay on the train.
Day 3 – Arrival at Jammu & Raghunath Temple
After arriving at Jammu, transfer to your hotel and take some rest. Later, visit the famous Raghunath Temple, one of the largest Hindu temple complexes in North India, known for its multiple shrines and spiritual atmosphere.
After darshan and local exploration, return to the hotel for overnight stay in Jammu.
Day 4 – Jammu to Srinagar
Start early in the morning and begin your scenic road journey from Jammu to Srinagar. Breakfast will be packed from the hotel, and you can enjoy beautiful mountain and valley views along the route.
After reaching Srinagar in the evening, check in to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 5 – Srinagar Sightseeing
After breakfast, begin local sightseeing in Srinagar with visits to Shankaracharya Temple, Mughal Gardens, and Hazratbal Shrine. Shankaracharya Temple is one of the oldest and most important shrines in Kashmir, offering peaceful surroundings and panoramic views.
Later, explore the beautiful Mughal Gardens, known for their fountains, pools, and Persian-style landscaping. End the day with a visit to Hazratbal Shrine, located beside Dal Lake, before returning to the hotel.
Day 6 – Gulmarg Excursion & Houseboat Stay
After breakfast, travel to Gulmarg, also known as the “Meadow of Flowers.” This scenic destination is famous for its green meadows, winter snow, and optional cable car ride (at your own cost).
During the tour, visit places like Baba Reshi Shrine and Maharani Temple. After sightseeing, return to Srinagar and enjoy a memorable overnight stay in a traditional houseboat.
Day 7 – Dal Lake & Houseboat Experience
Enjoy breakfast at the houseboat and begin your day with a peaceful Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Spend time soaking in the beauty of the lake, floating surroundings, and scenic mountain views.
The rest of the day is free for relaxation, photography, local exploration, or enjoying the romantic atmosphere of Kashmir. Overnight stay at the houseboat.
Day 8 – Srinagar to Pahalgam
After breakfast, travel towards Pahalgam, one of Kashmir’s most scenic valley destinations. Enjoy the beautiful mountain roads, riverside landscapes, and peaceful surroundings on the way.
After reaching Pahalgam, check in to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Day 9 – Pahalgam Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day excursion to Chandanwari and Betaab Valley. These places are famous for their snow views, river scenery, lush valleys, and picnic-like atmosphere.
Please note that local entry charges or union vehicle charges may apply separately depending on the destination. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Day 10 – Pahalgam to Katra & Vaishno Devi Darshan
After breakfast, begin your journey to Katra. Lunch will be taken on the way, and after hotel check-in, proceed for Vaishno Devi Darshan.
Travelers may choose helicopter ride, pony, or dandi services (at their own cost) for the temple visit. After darshan, enjoy the spiritual atmosphere of Vaishno Devi and stay overnight in Katra.
Day 11 – Leisure Day at Katra
After returning from Vaishno Devi, spend the day at leisure in Katra. In the evening, you can explore the local market, enjoy street food, or do some shopping.
Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 12 – Return Journey Begins
After breakfast, begin your return journey and board Jammu Tawi Express or another available train back towards Kolkata. Overnight journey by train.
Day 13 – Full Day on Train
Spend the day traveling back by train while carrying unforgettable memories of your Kashmir journey. Arrival in Kolkata will be on the following day.
